COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course aims to jumpstart the careers of professionals wanting to enter the business event management industry and events professionals who are tasked with implementing events in their respective industries.
COURSE OUTCOMES:
By the end of the one-day training module, participants will have gained practical knowledge about the fundamentals of MICE and business events, which they can immediately apply in their professional roles.
1. Differentiate Business events from social events, festivals, and mega-events.
2. Define Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, and standard terminologies according to the EIC's accepted glossary definitions.
3. Understand the various components and elements of MICE.
4. Know the global MICE trends from industry practitioners.
