About Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
The Convention Industry Council launched the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)® program in 1985 to enhance the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals, promote the status and credibility of the meeting profession, and advance uniform standards of practice.
Today, the CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition, and event industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education, and a rigorous exam.
To facilitate the accumulation of the CE Clock Hours for CMP certification or re-certification, the Philippine MICE Academy offers courses through its CMPEM with approved CE Clock Hours as a CMP Preferred Provider.
The program(s) identified with the CMP Preferred Provider logo meet the requirements to receive continuing education (CE) credit for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential.
